We’re looking for a high-energy; results oriented individual to lead the procurement team and assume responsibility for supplier relationship management across our global business. This high-profile role will be responsible for all phases of procurement from supplier identification to ongoing supplier performance management, thereby ensuring a high-quality service to internal stakeholders.

Influence suppliers and internal working practices
Working cross functionally review and evaluate contract and agreements
Prepare RFP, RFQ and all relevant documentation with suppliers and associated commercial agreements to support strategic bids, contract re-negotiations and customer contracts.
Develop a negotiation strategy that delivers against business objectives and achieves sustainable relationships with suppliers.
Provide day to day procurement leadership to junior colleagues
Complete performance management of one direct report, including setting annual performance & development plans, quarterly performance reviews, and weekly 1:1’s.
Analyse industry trends and evolving technology to proactively identify supply base issues to minimise risk, protect continuity of supply, and exploit emerging opportunities that benefit Picsolve.
Support trials to introduce new and innovative products to market with minimum exposure to initial investment
Lead best practice within procurement to ensure best use of business premises and stock management and control.
The successful applicant:
Has 10 year or equivalent of demonstrable procurement experience, with extensive vendor and contractual management.
Is qualified to MCIPS level or equivalent.
Has proven track record of delivering business benefits through methodical working practices.
Has knowledge of local and global legal limitations when developing contracts etc.
Effectively uses systems and processes to measure, monitor, manage, and impact performance.
Has prior experience of leading and developing a team, in such a way that you empower and enable others to perform effectively.
Ability to communicate regularly and concisely to internal stakeholders.
Experience of managing projects to ensure successful delivery.
High levels of integrity, self-motivation, drive and enthusiasm.
Is resilient to managing change and handling conflict.
